Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Departure and the magnificent nature of Switzerland!

   From 22:00 in the evening we pick up our valued guests at our boarding points, take our seats on the coach and our journey begins. Picking up further travellers along the way, we continue towards Switzerland with comfortable breaks. Our route leads to Switzerland – a country that, for all its wealth, has kept its unspoilt nature, its crystal-clear air, its order and its friendly people, and is therefore one of the most popular countries on the European continent. In the morning hours we open our eyes amid Switzerland's magnificent scenery. We drive to Lauterbrunnen, one of the most popular villages of the Jungfrau region, and enjoy this beautiful village. We see the Staubbach Falls, plunging from a height of around 300 m. Those who wish can walk right up to the foot of the waterfall and capture wonderful shots! After enjoying the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the mountain waterfalls and the unique mountain scenery, we continue by comfortable coach to Grindelwald, one of the most famous villages in the region. On this journey full of magnificent views you can take plenty of photographs and do some shopping. After the free time our guide allows here, we take our seats on the coach again and set off towards Lucerne. On arrival in Lucerne we first see the centuries-old wooden bridges, the Chapel Bridge and the Spreuer Bridge. After our short city walk you can have dinner in the restaurants and cafés along the waterfront. Following our walk we head to our hotel. Overnight at our comfortable hotel in the Zurich or Lucerne area.

2. Day 2

   Zurich & the magnificent Rhine Falls

   We set off to discover Zurich, Switzerland's world-famous flagship city. We spend the day walking through the historic fabric of the city, starting from the famous Bahnhofstrasse, the heart of luxury and fashion. During our walk we see the city's iconic landmarks such as the Quai Bridge, St. Peter's Church with its giant clock tower, and the historic stock exchange and central bank buildings. Afterwards we allow free time for shopping and photographs in the 500-year-old historic Augustinergasse, which has a fairy-tale atmosphere with its colourful bay-windowed houses. In your free time you can stroll along the banks of the Limmat, try Swiss delicacies with a Parisian air in historic cafés and enjoy the lively streets of the Niederdorf. In the afternoon: after our Zurich walk we turn towards one of Europe's greatest natural wonders, the Rheinfall (Rhine Falls). We stop for photographs to watch the roaring waters of the magnificent falls and capture this tremendous moment. Guests who wish can join the optional, separately payable Rhine Falls boat trip and feel the power of the water at close range. After our pleasant free time around the falls, we begin our return journey to Germany with the finest memories of the Swiss Alps. In the evening/night hours we bring you safely back to the boarding points of the first day with Big Bus Europa quality and comfort and conclude our tour – until we meet again on our next dream route.
