Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Flight from Germany, Gaziantep – Halfeti

   Arrival in Gaziantep on the morning flight from Germany. Our professional guide meets us at the airport. Our first stop is the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, one of the largest mosaic museums in the world. We then walk through the historic Coppersmiths' Bazaar, the Almacı market, the Tahmis coffee house and the narrow stone streets of Antep. Lunch is our introduction to the regional cuisine of Gaziantep. In the afternoon we set off for Halfeti. On an unforgettable boat trip along the Euphrates we see Rumkale fortress and the submerged village of Savaşan. Dinner and overnight in Halfeti/Şanlıurfa.

2. Day 2

   Göbekli Tepe – Harran – Şanlıurfa

   After breakfast we visit Göbekli Tepe, the site that rewrote the history of humankind. Then on to Harran. 3. Day 3

   Mardin – Midyat

   Morning departure for Mardin. 4. Day 4

   Dara – Hasankeyf – Diyarbakır
