Reichsburg, vineyards and river views
ImpressionsThe most beautiful stretch of the Moselle: the historic half-timbered lanes below Reichsburg Castle, the vineyards reaching down to the bank and a pleasant riverside promenade – ideal for a relaxing weekend.
We set off in the morning from our designated boarding points and, after a comfortable, short journey, reach the enchanting Moselle Valley. As we arrive in Cochem, the pearl of the valley, we set out on what feels like a journey through time. First we take in the panoramic view of the historic Reichsburg Cochem, which rises like a crown above the town. We then give you ample free time. During your free time you can walk through Cochem's narrow, winding medieval lanes and spend time at the historic fountain and the cafés on the market square (Marktplatz). Guests who wish may join the popular boat trips on the Moselle or have lunch in the restaurants along the riverbank. After this peaceful day where nature and history intertwine, we begin our return journey to our boarding points in Germany. In the evening we bring you back to the points where we picked you up and conclude our tour – until we meet again on another Big Bus Europa journey where you feel comfort and safety.
